Certification gives you the confidence that your SPF setup is working as intended.

Both publishing-side domains and receiving-side MTAs will be interested in certification.

SPF Record Certification: The SPF Validator (coming soon) will test your SPF record for validity. If any problems are found, it will suggest workarounds. If no problems are found, it will produce a logo you can display on your website.

Receiver-Side Certification: It is critically important that different receiver-side implementations parse and evaluate SPF records in exactly the same way. Interoperability testing for MTA vendors, antispam vendors, and other receiver-side systems guarantees that your implementation is 100% correct. The SPF community has developed a test suite containing over 350 conformance tests. We are partnering with a certification specialist organization to formalize and expand those tests and provide related services.
